EIA organisation structure
GENERAL ASSEMBLY:
Responsibility: to define the principles of EIA policy and approve the strategy and program of activities proposed by the Steering Committee. The GA meets in principle once a year. Membership: the GA is made up of ‘full members‘. Each member delegates a representative (with the of power of attorney) to the GA.

Responsibility: the President of EIA is the spokesperson and chair of the Steering Committee. The President implements policies and decisions adopted by the GA and the Steering Committee. Current President: Mr. Livio Ambrogio, Managing Director of Ambrogio Trasporti (Italy). |
STEERING COMMITTEE:
Responsibilities: the Steering Committee is elected by the General Assembly and manages the Association for a period of three years.
The EIA President chairs the SC. The SC appoints the Secretary General.
The SC may delegate or give special powers to one or several of its members or even non-members. The SC submits the annual report and the financial report, the accounts for the past calendar year, including the associated auditor‘s report, and the budget for the coming year to the General Assembly.
