Why & How to become a member of EIA ?
WHY SHOULD I BECOME A MEMBER OF THE EIA?
As a member of the EIA you too can be part of the specialist platform for intermodal transport modes. You can use this platform and the support of the EIA facilities and networks to influence decision makers in many ways, one of the most popular is through EIA working visits or round tables. The EIA will inform you of recent developments and can help you with your lobby or public affairs contacts with the European institutions.
Possibility of observation before becoming a member
You may join as an ‘associate member for a period of observation’. With this facility you pay the minimum level of fee but still have the right to use all our services for a limited time. If you are already in a position to become a ‘full’ member, you would also be allocated a fixed number of votes, which you can use to represent the interests of your company during the General Assembly.
As a Full Member you are entitled to:
- demand and/or attend EIA lobbying visits to the EU authorities defending your interests
- attend and vote at the annual EIA General Assembly
Other benefits, available also for Associated Members:
- 50% discount on EIA Round Tables
- 50% discount on EIA Working Visits
- 20% discount on annual ITL conference (www.intermodal-events.com)
- access and/or cost sharing in stand space at ‘Intermodal Platform’ during the ITL exhibition
- Free receipt of EIA Newsletter
- Free receipt of EU transport & logistic project results
